I don’t fully understand why I like this so much. Is the ghost the source of light? Or is basking in the glow of the lamp, which his eyes are fixed on? His shape is so similar to the chair that I like to think he is the ghost of a second chair of a pair, now separated. Even in death he keeps his promise to love and protect. The prominent coffee cup is a mystery unto itself. Some mysteries are best left unsolved.

Lovely mood here. I don’t think much about ghosts when they are not interacting with the living. I like to imagine this ghost is having a nice time.
