I just looked back at the first Chess Boy strips (I am enthused about Chess Boy right now) – and Barry commented that they were like the first Calvin and Hobbes, the tuna sandwich strip. Its already true. I also noted that Chess Boy seemed to have a baby sibling, or cousin, or something named \”Reginald\”. This may have been before we recognized Carlos' Hispanicity….
