Something very disturbing about the last panel – how the bird doesn't ever change it's position. It's frozen in a scream. Or it's kind of like the comic was inspired by one of those little ceramic birds you put in pies or some other inanimate object, which is creepy because it's like an emotion is going on in there, but they're completely stuck, like a paralyzed person, which is totally appropriate.

This seems to depict the desperation of those who unwittingly enslave themselves to the freedom of this world with its promises…
