Is there any greater joy in the life of an ancient reptile than the anticipation of a tasty meal? Not if we are to believe the recounted tale of this preschool Picasso. Looking forward to both the book and the inevitable movie where Andy Serkis will, no doubt, give voice to the noble beast.
Who is the boy who. Finds himself the object of the dragon’s affection? He seems sturdy and kind, like the artist who drew him. Is the dragon anticipating a bountiful future? Or perhaps he’s looking back in remorse, unable to quiet his guilt over a meal he regrets? Perhaps this moment of moral clarity leads to the dragon becoming a vegan? Perhaps his persuasive fervor leads all other dragons to follow him? Perhaps that rapid dietary transition led to their doom? History does not record and mankind can never know if the extinction of this noble species began with the seeds of doubt that began at this precise moment of reflection.
I really really like that dragon’s thoughts
