So you are doing these lines with a dipping pen and nib? They look like lines made with enjoyment. I have been getting back in to the nib as well, as I hope to evince soon…I love the panels you do where Carlos' head is just at the bottom, he looks like he is straining a little to keep his head above the line.The trees look a little out of place – it took me a while to realize they were outsideStory is keeping me reading!
Alright! I’m all caught up on Chess boy. I had missed a lot – everything from her pulling a gun on him on.
Chessboy has an effortless flow. the characters are consistent across all the different pages. Those are things that don’t come naturally to me, and which become kind of invisible when done well – and are invisible here.
And just great natural comics language throughout. You’ve just internalized the language of comics and appear to be able to just “think comics.”
